Defense Department has announced the revised 2010 Basic Allowance for Housing (BAH) rates. The 2010 Basic allowance for housing (Bah) rates has been released on Wednesday for the members of military services by the department of defense. The department of defense has revealed that the 2010 Bah rates are based on three important variable market factors. 2010 Bah rates (Basic allowance for housing) will be effective from 1st January 2010.
2010 Bah rates will be refreshing news for the militants. The basic allowance for housing has been increased by 2.5 percent for the troops, an average raise of around $36 per month has been announced for the military members with dependents, a raise of $25 per month has been added for the junior members with dependents, and non commissioned senior officers with depends will enjoy a raise of $42 per month.
The department of Defense has also announced the three important factor on which the rates has been revised, average utilities like water, electricity and others, present market rent rates and average of rental insurance.
The cost of the housing rents are calculated on the basis of around five housing propositions and then on the bases of grades with and without dependents, it has been reported that around 1 million military service members will be additionally paid around $19 billion for 2010.
The basic allowances for housing rates were expected to be raised for the betterment and look after the military service members, the percentage increased will be quite acceptable for the members to coop up with their issues.
