According to the reports, Senate has voted this week heavily against the grant of funds to ACORN. ACRON has been dismissed by senate on the basis of its fraudulent activities with the funds.
The question about the fund grants for Development and Urban Housing sector to ACORN remained kept burning among the senators until this week when a combined voting was carried out to learn about the opinion of the legislatures. 83 senators voted against ACORN, 7 voted in the favor of ACORN, while 9 did not vote.
ACORN does not have a good history and hence failed to win the trust of the lawmakers. A video has also been released showing the evidence of ACORN being involved in illegal activities.
