Test is a way to check your aptitude not your intelligence. Act test is an abbreviation for American College Testing and this is a standardized examination for college admission and for high school attainment in America. This test is a sincere effort by ACT. ACT is a self-governing, not-for-profit institute that offers a broad range of valuation, research, facts, and program management in the extents of education and personnel development.
It was first directed in the year 1959 by Everett Franklin Lindquist as a participant to the College Boards Academic Ability Test, now it has become SAT Perceptive Test. Various students who execute feebly on the SAT discovery that they execute better on the ACT.
The ACT test has traditionally comprised of 4 types test; Math, English, Reading, and Science reasoning. In early 2005, an elective writing test was also started along with other tests to the ACT. This was an additional effort to make positive changes to the SAT that came about at the end of the March of the same year. All graduate degree colleges and universities in U.S. receive the ACT but different organizations place diverse prominences on this unvarying test.
The test is more extensively used in the Midwestern and Southern part of America while the SAT is more popular in east and west region.
The ACT test is going to face various types of criticisms of the usefulness and impartiality of the SAT. The Triple Nine Society is an organization to check high IQ level and they used the ACT as one of their admission tests. Their criteria for admission is that students have to get at least 32 marks before October 1989, and a score of minimum 34 thereafter is compulsory to get for admission.
