Her husband stated that she could not have committed a suicide as she loved her young daughter and could not just leave her like this. After investigation it was proved that she had been killed by a construction worker, the reason was that Shelly asked him to stop the noise that he was making. The death of Adrienne Shelly was a great loss to the movie industry.
