Aileen Quinn – a famous American actress, known for her role as a child star in the movie Annie. She undoubtedly touched the height of fame in 1982 when she portrayed the character of Annie in the movie with the same name. Almost four decades of her flourishing acting were actually the time of her triumph and victories.
Aileen Quinn’s first role as a child star opened up the doors of Hollywood film industry on her. In the same year, 1982, she gave her beautiful voice to the everlasting movie “The Wizard of Oz”. Her voice is again used for the pretty, brown- eyes Susan in 1983, in the “Charmkins”. Her performance in the movie “The Frog Prince” was much appreciated.
Presently she is not only known as an actress but also as singer. She was interested in music from very early stage but incidentally she got the chance of acting before showing her singing talent.
Aileen Quinn received her early education from the school near her home and she graduated from the Drew University. During her study she attained deep involvement in music. She joined music classes under certain and firm belief of becoming a successful musician.
After 1986, she took a long break and then she starred again in 2004 in a well-known television series Generation Gap. Recently she is working in the movie “Multiple Sarcasms”, directed and produced by Mario Van Peebles and Mira Sorvino. This movie will complete in 2010.
