Thursday’s Hannity Show included a special report about the drought-stricken farmers who are waiting for water for their farms. The report showed the story of the farmers in the Huron, California where the farmers are getting food for their family from food lines as their farms are not producing anything due to shortage of water. The correspondent Ainsley Earhardt featured the live coverage of a protesting rally of farmers who asked President to address their problems. Correspondent Ainsley Earhardt told the host of the show, Sean Hannity, that the farmers are denied of water because the federal government has decided to with hold the water resources to preserve the endangered fish. The federal government has decided not to release water for the farms as they need this water to save the fish. Since the water crisis, the situation has worsened over the time and many families are now feeding themselves on the food they get from food bank. Ainsley Earhardt gave a review in her report about the significance of San Joaquin Valley farms which were large contributors of food crops in America before the water crisis began. Ainsley Earhardt talked to the local people and asked about the effects this crisis has made on their lives. She talked to a woman whose husband was a farmer but due to water crisis they are not able to feed their kids now. She told Ainsley Earhardt that everyday she walks up to the food bank of the community before the dawn to get food for her family. Ainsley Earhardt, who visited the area in April this year, told that the situation has become even worse. She urged the federal government to resolve the matter on urgent basis.
