Al Gore, the American Environmental Activist and former Vice President of United States has to do more to be near to the Nobel Prize. The third sitting President has been nominated for the Nobel Prize for doing nothing. Al Gore, you need to write more books to impress the Nobel Committee.
Well, the management of Nobel Prize has selected Mr. President Obama for just saying few words or showing some hopes to make this world peaceful. If this is the exact criteria for the nomination of most prestigious award then a list can be made of millions and billions of people around.
Don’t forget, he is the sitting President, who impressed the Nobel Committee with his efforts on global climate control. The emphasis on Nuclear Weapon Push was also noticed by the Nobel Committee, they also gave him credit for making the statements on environment and global climate control. The actual situation suggests that it is just the beginning and not much has been done for global climate control.
The stance will be clearer in December when they sit on global climate control in Copenhagen.
Well, it is not new to people that leaders only make big and revolutionary statements, which actually differs by and large from the ground realities and facts.
The Obama’s Government is under immense pressure for following the saying as “Do Nothing Look Busy” and frankly speaking the things are getting out of hand for the Obama’s administration. Keeping in view the current and actual situation, in fact Mr. Obama deserves no awards or rewards as he and his administration deserves a punch on the back to make them start and doing the things right.
As far as the Nobel Prize is concern, not only the Taliban disliked it but majority in state will definitely put question mark on the competency criteria for the Nobel Prize.
