U.S immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has conducted the biggest operation of United States of America by arresting more then 275 aliens from Los Angles. The operation concluded on Thursday night. These aliens have been arrested on the bases of their criminal record.
ICE has revealed that this is the biggest operation against foreign nationals with criminal record. The arrested aliens are facing deportation and serious foreign criminals will be facing more charges and trials in US courts.
The US immigration and Custom Enforcement (ICE) started the operation on Tuesday and it ended on Thursday. During the three days of operation, they located and arrested 280 aliens around the state with 6 aliens having their final deportation orders. More then 75 percent of the arrested people were having the criminal record like rape, robbery, possession of deadly weapons and many other convictions. 100 out of the total arrested has been removed from the United States, ICE deported them straight away after arresting.
John Morton, ICE assistant secretary for homeland security announced the results of the operation in a press conference on Friday. He said 400 officers and agent were involved in this operation. He said our core objective is the safety of the public and its enhancement,
Before this operation North California Operation was the biggest where total numbers of 119 aliens were arrested. The Los Angles operation has arrested 280 people, including 29 women and 257 men from more than 30 different nations of the world like Middle East, Africa, Europe and Latin America.
