A former Philadelphia Television newscaster Alycia Lane who was fired from her previous job hired at KNBC-TV Channel 4 as a weekend newscaster and reporter on Tuesday. Alycia Lane was fired just after a series of off-camera events that made Alycia Lane silage for gossip columns and tabloids. It also included her arrest by police in New York.
Alycia Lane worked for 5 years as a main week night newscaster for 4 PM, 6 PM and 11 PM. Alycia Lane will begin his work as newscaster on 29th of August, 2009 at KNBC-TV’s evening broadcasts. Alycia Lane replaced “Kim Baldonado”; who was promoted in July, 2009 to a newscaster and appeared in weekly “News Extra” (an investigative reporting series) and daily “Midday Report”.
KNBC-TV has advertized her accomplishments and resume in the preliminary news regarding the hiring of Alycia Lane. General Manager and President of KNBC-TV “Craig Robinson” said in the preliminary announcement on Tuesday:
“An experienced anchor who has a tremendous ability to engage and connect with the audiences. Her energy and talent will be great assets to KNBC and we look forward to her contributions to our newsroom”.
The agent of Alycia Lane named “Gregg Willinger” highlighted in a conference that she is paying attention on “looking forward”.
