Though American Wedding is criticized for a few of its scenes, I have always enjoyed watching the movie. I can still laugh at the funny scenes of this sequel to the American Pie series. One of the best comedy movies I have ever come across. American Wedding should be enjoyed in a light mood and the scene that is much criticized should be enjoyed as just a fictional event added to increase the laugh factor of the movie. The scene is about Stifler – Seann William Scott where he feeds his friend Jim’s wedding ring to a dog and now searching the dog pooh to find the ring! At last he finds the ring in the pooh but it remains to be cleaned. As he is going to clean it, bride’s mother intercepts him and thinks that the dog pooh is some chocolate dish and eats it!!
American wedding starts with Michelle sucking Jim under the table. As a result of some mix up Jim has to stand up without his pants on. He puts on his pants and to disguise his embarrassment, proposes Michelle. One of the most hilarious scenes from the movie is where Jim is cutting his pubic hair. He gathers all the hair and throws out of the window. There is aprty going on downstairs. The pubic hair destroy everything. Women are seen throwing up etc. Then there is a scene where Stifler tries to steal a cream cake. The dog attacks Stifler to have a bite of the cake. As parts of cakes stick to Stifler’s shorts, the dog is seen licking his shorts from the front and everybody thinks that he is getting it done by the dog.
