Cleanliness is healthiness but if someone goes crazy about hygiene, it would surely be harmful to health because excess of everything is bad after all. A new research by a national environmental group depicts that some chemicals found in everyday household disinfectants lead to hormone imbalances, asthma and a few other health problems. Like most of the households and kitchen cleansers are consist of ammonia and according to reports if ammonia will be mixed with bleach it can produce harmful chlorine gas and can cause coughing, asthma , nausea, chest pain, or some other diseases.
Chemicals found in some safe cleaning products like laundry detergents, air fresheners, baby wipes, hand wash and some kitchen cleanser that are used as antiseptics, mimic bleach properties.
Lavender and tea tree oils generally have antiseptic, satirizing and anti-fungal properties.
According to WVE “Women’s Voices for the Earth” All household chemicals consist of ammonia can cause problem to eyes “even blindness”, throat, skin and lungs problems are much common.
Companies who are making these cleansers are struggling to persuade or convince the consumers that regular disinfection of every surface in the homes is necessary to protect their families from germs and illness but this is not true at all and it may not be healthy to use these chemicals daily to clean your house.
No doubt we cannot avoid the use of these cleansers but we can avoid their frequent use and we can take on some safety measures while using these detergents and cleansers. Use this ammonia and bleach based disinfectants once a week to avoid several skins and other diseases. Always use to open the doors and windows for at least an hour daily so that the germs as well as the harmful ingredients of these chemicals can be diminished by the sun rays and fresh air. Certainly precautions are the basic cures.
