In a brand new television series called the “Big Red” Amy Madigan has been given an opportunity to show her acting skills as she will be playing the role of the school principle, usually a very tough role to play since a principle needs to be both affectionate towards her students while at the same time show a sense of level headedness and firmness to keep the children from becoming too unruly. The drama series which has been directed and written by Mike Pavone is going to be based on middle-schoolers with the main story revolving around this twelve year old kid who has been paired up with a boy who is considered an outcast.
Amy Madigan will be acting alongside legendary actor Randy Orton who has appeared in many Hollywood blockbusters till now showing his true potential in the movie “The Rock” in which he plays the soldier with a conscience alongside Sean Connery and Nicholas Cage. Amy Madigan is somewhat popular as well as she made it to the big screens in her 1989 movie which was called “Field of Dreams” for which she played the role of Annie Kinsella though her more notable achievement amongst her fans would be when she was nominated for an Oscar Award in the annum of 1985.
Amy Madigan has a musical history as well in which she has shown her skills in vocals, percussions and keyboard playing in the years she spent performing with Steve Goodman. The show “Big Red” is going to concentrate its energy in some key issues relating to children and schooling problems in the present day and age.
