Arline Kercher is the mother of Meredith Kercher. She arrived in Perugia with Meredith’s surviving siblings. Meredith Kercher was killed in her room and as police arrived, they found Meredith Kercher’s naked dead body in a pool of blood. Amanda Knox trial took many dramatic turns during the court proceedings. As Arline kercher arrived she was surrounded by an army of reporters, cameramen and media personnel. However Arline Kercher refused to comment on the trial. Italian court of law has sentenced Meredith’s alleged murderer a life in prison. Alleged; because Amanda and her boyfriend never confessed their crime.
As the court proceedings started before the verdict could be announced Amanda Knox was given a chance to speak in her defense. Amanda was wearing a light green colored jacket with white striped T shirt. As she started her voice was crackling. She was not at all looking like the woman who had staged the wild sex orgy and got high on marijuana. She repeated that she has not killed Kercher. She said that she is scared that she would be regarded as a murderer. Her voice was breaking. She thanked her family who gave her the courage to stand the trial. She also thanked prosecutors as, she said they were just performing their duty. In the end she said that she wants the she wanted the judge to look at the whole matter objectively and decide.
Whatever she says, it is clear that the murder of the roommate had very little effect on Amanda and her boyfriend and they were found shopping and enjoying afterwards.
And obviously nobody could imagine the feelings of Arline Kercher, who had lost her daughter.
