Do not fear when Aspire Revo is here. Good news for the geeks now they have some more new technology to abuse.
Finally Acer publicly announces their first NVIDIA ion-box platform net-top today. The Aspire Revo, contains 11.6 inch Aspire One and a new assortment of Aspire all-in-ones.
Aspire Revo has Intel Atom 230 1.6GHZ processor, 4GB DDR Ram, 250 GB of HDD, 4 in 1 memory card reader, six 2.0 series USB ports, Ethernet card, ?VGA,HDMI? output, WiFi and Windows Vista Home Basic or Premium. They are planning to release dual-core intel atom processor later this year.
All this and they are calling it a mini PC I mean come-on it is still a mini PC then let it be I want to use it as soon as possible. Well most of you guys out there will think that this is a desktop machine not a notebook well the thing which describes it is this that it will come in compact 7.1 x 7.1 x 1.2 inches box.
Aspire Revo outfitted with NVIDIA ion-box graphics, providing one of the most inspiring graphic resolutions at a very reasonable price not available from other brands or companies in the market.
One thing I must mention here is NVIDIA is still unable to get 9400 power use to the levels required for the mobile market, so the people inspired by the mobile graphics go to Apple, or else- where. Instead of going in to mobiles due to power management problem that is all the graphic cards are now going desktop units.
Aspire Revo is also available in a package that contains a game controller with 3D motion sensors offering several functions. Instead of being able to be used like a direction controller ?mouse? or remote control, the controller changes into 3 primary special gaming scenarios in an airplane to race-car steering wheel, a shooting device with built-in trigger or a tennis racket or a baseball bat. The device is very stylish and does not only keep track of points during the game, but captures and tracks very precise user motion too and the last but not the least a Mini PCI Express slot that comes with the possibility of increasing memory capacity to make space for constantly increasing multimedia files.
