Audrey Seiler a stupid girl or just wants the attention of her boyfriend including the rest of the world?
Wisconsin University, Wisconsin a 20 year old girl “Audrey Seiler” was charged for staging her own kidnapping on Wednesday. The drama started last month when “Audrey Seiler” vanished from her apartment which is situated off-campus on 27th March, of this year without her coat and purse.
According to police officials this was a desperate attempt from “Audrey Seiler” to seek the attention of her boyfriend. She is a popular and energetic student with 4.0 GPA.
Audrey Seiler was charged with two misdemeanor charges, one is of hinder officers for the offenses she could be charged nine months in jail for each crime and a maximum fine of $10,000.
It came in the knowledge of the police when a store videotape was discovered in which Audrey Seiler was buying the knife, duct tape, rope and cold medicine. According to her the kidnapper used these things to bring her under control, but when the tape was shown to her “Audrey Seiler” confessed to police that she had lied about her kidnapping. She said “I’m so stupid. I’m sorry for all this”. she also said “I’m finally telling the truth. It feels so good”.
Hundreds of people searched for her after she vanished, and after she told the police about the armed man her abductor a manhunt on a very large scale was started which coasted the authorities about $10,000.
Audrey’s parents appointed three attorneys for her misdemeanor charges of impediment but when the verdict finally was announced it was three years of probation, a monthly pay back of $250 the cost of her investigation, and 250 hours of community service with an organization that deals with missing children. The judge has granted that as her probation period of three years end the case will be removed to give her a chance to start fresh.
