Austin Wuennenberg was confirmed as the driver of Disney World monorail, who died in the collision of two monorails. Austin Wuennenberg was graduate from “Celebration High School” and 21 years old. The two Disney World monorail with each other on Sunday morning at approximately 2 a.m at Magic Kingdom section of Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida.
According to the Office of Sheriff, eight people were on the board at that time. Out of them six guests were the members of same family; they were released after evaluation by paramedics at the scene. None of seven people were injured except Austin Wuennenberg as prescribed by the officials of Disney World. Authorities identified that Austin Wuennenberg had planned to graduate in computer science from Stetson University in the next year. But the crash of two Walt Disney World monorails has resulting in the death of Austin Wuennenberg and his all dreams.
The family of Austin Wuennenberg has not given any statement about this incident yet, but Walt Disney World reported that they are very saddened on the death of their fellow Cast Member, Austin Wuennenberg. They also said that their hearts are with his family members and his friends.
The Walt Disney World monorails are equipped with an Automated Checkpoint Safety System intended to prevent crashes, as prescribed in an interview of a former monorail driver taken by the Orlando Sentine. But perhaps it’s not enough to save Austin Wuennenberg.
