Miracles are not just a myth; they actually happen. Read the following news and you will second me on my miracles theory.
A baby escaped serious injuries after its stroller was hit by train in Australia this Thursday afternoon. The six-months-old baby was present in a baby stroller when it got rolled on the railway track. The arriving train pushed the strolled for 40 meters before the train driver pulled the emergency brakes. The baby suffered with minor injuries only.
The video footage released by the stations’ surveillance cameras shows that the mother removed her hands off from the stroller for a while and was looking around when the baby stroller started rolling towards the railway track. Meanwhile, a fast train was approaching the station. The mother and two other women ran after the stroller to stop it from rolling on the track but their attempts were too late as the train’s front end hit the stroller. The train pushed the stroller on the track for up to 40 meters. The commuters were running along with the train to provide aid to the baby. The train was stopped by the driver who pulled its emergency brakes. The baby escaped miraculously from serious injuries and suffered with a slight bump on his head. The paramedic staff says that the baby just needs some food and a little nap. The Paramedic Jon Wright said that it was a lucky escape as fortunately the bay was strapped inside the stroller.
The incident happened at Ashburton Station in the suburbs of Melbourne.
Ironically, the incident happened just a day after the Australian train operator Cornex launched a campaign for kids’ safety at railways stations. The campaign was launched in collaboration with Kidsafe Australia and it released news strips in which safety tips were provided to parents who carry their kids while traveling.
