Balloon Boy unfolds the hoax by stating “You guys said that … we did this for the show.” Falcon Heene said as he looked towards his parents for approval. The drama unfolded as Falcon’s elder brother told everyone that he saw his younger brother getting in the helium balloon before it took off. The balloon was made by the family. The event promptly evoked a response. Army National Guard’s dispatched a helicopter to rescue the boy and were preparing an air craft to put some weight in the balloon to lower it to ground level. The event was seen across the globe as balloon fluttered in the air and covered a distance of 50 miles before coming to the ground. The boy was instead found hiding in the home!
The family was asked whether they staged the drama to be on T.V. Falcon’s father vehemently opposed the allegations and said they have been through a disaster which nobody seems to understand. Falcon confirmed in an interview that it indeed was a hoax and it was staged for the family to be in limelight. The stories of foul play have also got credibility because the father is not new to T.V. He is host of a show on T.V and has been posting videos on You Tube about the aliens, and ending the videos with the assertion that “It Is Not a Hoax”! The incident is also a badly staged drama because the experts say that the dimensions of balloon are not enough to carry a child and because the father contacted media not 911 to save the life of the child.
