The citizens of Bangalore were shocked today with the news of the Bangalore fire that broke out in the Carlton Towers in Bangalore. The fire is believed to have been caused by a short circuit in the building which took place on the seventh floor. The Bangalore fire started around the time of four-thirty in the afternoon and was put under control after the brave efforts of the fire fighters who made it to the scene shortly after the fire was called in though they may not have been able to completely prevent casualties.
The Bangalore fire made five office workers jump out of the fifth floor when they panicked after finding out that the building had caught fire though if they had kept their cool they would have known better that the fifth floor is really no place to jump out of, no matter what the circumstances may be. The fire fighters who made there appearance came in a dispatch of six fire fighting vehicles and emerged from the fire with saving the entire work force that inhabited the building.
There were a few injuries as well on the old airport road where the Bangalore fire took place but they were immediately rushed to the Manipal hospital to be treated. The hospital which is taking care of them has opened up a telephone helpline for the members of family of the ones injured and they may call in any time to get more information about their loved ones. A total of fifty people have been injured by the Bangalore fire and some of those injured are in a seriously critical condition. The total death toll of the fire has been calculated at nine persons.
