Famous American country music vocalist and one of the most successful female singers Barbara Mandrell praised 19 years old, Taylor Swift, the 3rd female singer to lift the entertainer of the year award since 1981. Taylor Swift, the multi-platinum winner got the honor to win the Country Music Association’s leading and most cherished prize at the 43rd Annual CMA Awards, held at the Sommet Center on Wednesday night.
Barbara Mandrell, who has also won the award 28 years ago, appreciated Swift for winning such a prestigious award and getting the honor of being the youngest female singer to have achieved the honor.
Swift is the only female singer to win the trophy in this decade, and she’s the youngest one ever to win the category. Her voyage of success and triumph didn’t end there, she also attained an award for best album of the year for “Fearless,” directed by Trey Fan joy, among four others victories.
