In Breaking News – San Francisco Bay Bridge has been closed for all traffic as a cable and two beams snap off near the newly opened S-Curve of the bridge.

CC Myers the company in charge is taking a look at the damage and determining the causes. However in early reports put Heavy Winds as the cause of the incident. The event occurred between 5.00 and 6.00 P.M Tuesday.
No casualty has been reported however there were three minor accidents related to the falling cable and beams. One of the accidents included a man who has got injuries at his face as the falling cable struck the windshield of the car.
The accident has occurred near the newly opened portion of the bridge that is popularly regarded as the S-Curve. The beams and the cable are the parts of a chunk of the bridge that was installed in a hurry to get the traffic moving.
It has been cleared that as a part of the normal inspection routine the portion was regularly checked and has last been checked a little while ago.
The accident caused a traffic jam forcing the authorities to open a single lane of the bridge for the jammed traffic to clear the bridge.
However since then the bridge has been closed for all traffic.
As the traffic came to a standstill frustrated drivers started posting messages on social networking utilities like FaceBook.
