It has been reported that almost all North American’s are affected due to the BBM outage. According to reports the BBM outage occurred after a new version of Blackberry messenger service was launched. All the North American users of BBM have been affected by the outage.
The bug hit the BBM users after Research in Motion released a new version 5.0.0.57 of BBM “Blackberry Messenger” earlier in the day. BBM outage also occurred last week when Research in Motion “RIM” released 5.0.0.55 and 5.0.0.56 versions for BBM last week. RIM “Research in Motion” is trying to fix the problem at the moment.
Some reports suggest that it could take a full day to fix the BBM outage, whereas as some reports say that it the BBM outage would be fixed in the short time of three hours.
There is no web browsing, e-mail or messenger for North American users of Blackberry messengers at this time.
This is not the first time BBM outage occurred it also happened last week on 17th December. What we can tell our readers at this time is that only RIM is responsible for the BBM outage and not the carriers.
Research in Motion spokesperson said, they are working to fix the bug, but they are not sure how long will it take to fix this problem.
On the other hand Blackberry users are really getting frustrated and venting their frustration and thoughts on different social networks like Twitter.
It has also been reported that AT&T and T-Mobile users are affected, whereas “Rogers” users in Canada are also affected due to BBM outage.
