Beau Bennett has been drafted by the Pittsburg Penguins. He was picked in the first round at overall twentieth number. He has become the highest drafted player form the state of CA. He is currently playing for the Penticton Vees, which is a part of the British Columbia Hockey League. He is also engaged with the University of Denver for playing ice hockey in the coming season. His feet are stuck in different leagues this might be a problem for him in the future. Well as for right now he is very happy upon being drafted at a record time. Upon his draft he stated that he is extremely happy on it and he wants to play with this team. He stated that the Penguins are the finest team he has ever seen, he is very happy to be a part of it and it has been a dream come true, he always wanted to play with the champion players in that team and another great feature of the team is that it has recently won the Stanley Cup. A spokes person from the Penguins stated that they are really excited to have him; they believe that he has got great skills and his game play is getting better day by day. Beau Bennett is just eighteen years of age at the moment and he had a great season playing in the British Columbia league. The family members of Beau Bennett were also present at the draft ceremony and they were all very happy and proud of their boy.
