Benjamin Disraeli was born on December 21, 1804 and died on April 19, 1881. He was a well-known parliamentarian, British Prime Minister, literary figure and Conservative statesman. Around three decades of his life were spent by him to serve the British government. He was selected as the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom for two times in this period.
When he became the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, he listed his name as the first Jewish Prime Minister of the Britain government. An instrumental role was played by the Benjamin Disraeli to create the “Conservative Party” in the modern shape in 1846 after the schism of Corn Laws. The relations of the Benjamin Disraeli were strained with the main figures of the Conservative Party after 1844 especially with the Lord Derby although he was a major character of the Conservative Party for its protectionist wing.
Disraeli and Lord Derby would be on the simple terms not until 1860s and the last series of the former assured. Before the start of his political career and also during his career, Benjamin Disraeli was renowned as a social and literary figure, although the novels were not usually considered as part of the canon of Victorian literary.
Romance novels were mostly written by him and “Vivian Grey” and “Sybil” are the best known novels written by this notorious personality. He gained equal political and social renown and became exceptional in the list of the British Prime Ministers. He got the position of the “Rector of the University” for the “Glasgow University Conservative Association” for two times.
