Billy Gibbons

Billy Gibbons, who is also well known for his nick name “Reverend Willie G”, was born on 16 th of December 1949 in Houston, Texas. He is a well-known actor, musician, customizer of car and hot rod. Another identity of this personality which is probably the best identity is being working with “ZZ Top” as a lead guitarist. Many of the songs of this band have been composed and sung by him as a lead singer.

Playing his own guitar “Billy-Bo” also made Billy Gibbons popular among his fans. A psychedelic group of Texas whose name was “The Moving Sidewalks” was founded by Billy Gibbons. One album of full length “Flash” and many single songs were recorded by this group. When Jimi Hendrix planned his very first tour to the United States whose title was “The Jimi Hendrix Experience”, it was the time when “The Moving Sidewalks” and Billy Gibbons became prominent to the world.

Jeff Beck was joined by Gibbons on stage with a Hendrix’s version “Foxy Lady” at the 25th Anniversary of the Hall of Fame Concert of Rock and Roll in 2009. Several special appearances as a guest have also been made by Billy Gibbons.
