The Black Friday ads are roaming around the world long before the original event. Although the ads will be in printed form just few days before Black Friday, yet companies and other intermediaries are getting ready for making business to avoid rush barriers.
The next day after thanks giving (Friday) is called as Black Friday. This is a formal or informal day for doing shopping for the vacations and holidays. All stores offer huge discounts to customers on a “first come firs serve” basis. Who shops earlier gets greater discount as compared to those who shop on a later stage.
This selling strategy results in long queues of people who arrive even before the store is opened. Therefore, Black Friday sales in big stores, like Wal-Mart, reach the figure of a billion-dollar. The customers who are fond of doing good bargains, Black Friday is no less than a festival for them. As far as the revenue is concerned, Black Friday is not the day of the year with best sales figures.
Black Friday comes after charismas in that contest. The two days before the charismas, sales always remains on the top leading to highest revenue of the year. Now a pertinent question arises why this day is called as black Friday. The companies record their profits in books of accounts in black ink and the losses in red color. Most of the companies and stores register some of their profits on this day. So this has become the tradition of calling this day as Black Friday.
