Though the launch of the Blackberry Tour 2 has not officially been announced by the manufacturers of Blackberry there is news from Verizon that the Blackberry Tour 2 will be released in a short time within this month. The news came after a few of the prototypes of the Blackberry Tour 2 showed up in the inventory held by Verizon.
The Blackberry Tour 2 which has been given the code name of Essex will have wireless internet and a track pad rather than having the conventional trackball that all the blackberries have. The Blackberry tour 2 is roughly the same size as the previous model of the Blackberry tour. The Blackberry Tour 2 will also have a faster processor than the Blackberry Storm which will speed up all undertakings on the phone.
The Blackberry Tour 2 will also have a better camera, possibly offering a better picture quality through a higher mega pixel capacity.
The rumors that had spread earlier suggested that the Blackberry Tour 2 would come out into the market late in January but as January came and went without any news announcements from Blackberry or its suppliers the rumor was put on the backburner till February where Blackberry customers are still eager to find out whether it will come out this month or not.
The Blackberry Tour 2 may cost as little as fifty dollars with a contract with the telephone service company. Though the changes made are minor and may only tweak the performance by just a little bit I can bet that the new model will sell like hot cakes when it is launched.
