Though Patrick Swayze is not among us anymore, his films would always remind us of the talented actor. Blackdog is 1998 thriller starring Swayze. Black Dog is a struggle between good and evil.
The film starts with the authorities trying to stop truck carrying illegal ammunition. The truck driver comes in the line of fire and is killed. The killing results in the discord between two federal law enforcement agencies.
Meanwhile Swayze is seen as a jail bird as he has accidentally killed a driver while he hallucinated about black dog. As he is released from the jail, he has lost his driving license. He accepts a job as motor mechanic. He is offered $10,000 to take a shipment of sanitary fittings from one city to another. First he refuses the job but then is forced to take up the job as he has to pay the debts. The cargo happens not to be an ordinary cargo; there is illegal ammunition in the cargo.
Earlier he is seen as a loving father and husband. His family is taken captive unless he completes his job. He has been left with little options but he decides to help FBI by installing tracking device in the truck. As FBI tracks and apprehends the driver, the truck is proved to be the wrong one.
