Corruption in departments which are responsible for public safety can lead to some serious consequences. Police departments are often found being involved in criminal activities and one such mind-blowing story has been reported by the FBI on Thursday.
Many police officers and detectives are found collaborating with a crime mob.
According to the reports, FBI has released an investigation report which revealed that many police officers and state detectives including Bo Dietl and detective-driver from Manhattan DA Robert Morgenthau have been involved in criminal activities such as armed robbery, drug dealing, killings and murders, and revealing secret information to the criminals.
The blockbuster information was provided by the Gambino crime family rat John Alite who gave statements about Bo Dietl’s involvement in the latest racketeering. John Alite appeared in the federal court and recorded a statement against Bo Dietl and Robert Morgenthau. He said that he has personally witnessed Bo Dietl taking cash from the gang leader of Gambino. When asked Dietl about the allegations, he told the press that Alite is a liar and that he even doesn’t know him. Bo Dietl talked to the press on phone from Venice, Italy. Bo Dietl who grew up with the Gambino family’s former leader in the Queens area of New York, said that he has met him only three times and two of them were the funerals.
