We are nowhere near Christmas or Thanksgiving nor even quite to Halloween but it’s never too early for Christmas Songs, especially when they are sung by Bob Dylan. Bob Dylan singing “Hark! the Herald Angels Sing”, it is part of Christmas album out this week, “Christmas in the Heart” features all your favourite performed as only Dylan can.
Bob Dylan is known for an encyclopaedic knowledge of American music, in this album though he may not played the hits; the album includes “O Come, All Ye Faithful”, “The First Noel” and of course the song with which no Christmas Collection would be complete “O Little Town of Bethlehem”.
All of this is from the latest Bob Dylan Christmas album, one of the most influential voices in the world of music. Dylan’s voice is a reminder that it’s not always obvious what makes it a great voice, it’s not just the tone, it’s the expression, which is one of the things that made Dylon famous.
APR that has launched Bob Dylan’s Christmas album have launched another album back in January, the name of the album was “50 great voices”, it’s a series dedicated to discovering and re-discovering singer from around the world.
Album includes a song of “Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali” from Pakistan, who died in 1997 and considered to be one of the greatest singers of sub-continent.
Both albums have their own charms, Bob Dylan of course one of the most renowned and a celebrated musician of U.S, but second album contains the best of songs from those 50 voices who are loved all over the world.
