Bonanza role-player Pernell Roberts, who stunned Hollywood by getting the television Western Bonanza at the altitude of its fame, and then got the fame once more yrs afterward Trapper John, has died in the age of eighty-one.
Roberts, the final existing role-player of the standard Western’s project, passed away of cancer at his home on Sunday, Eleanor Criswell his beloved narrated to media.
