Professional Bowl wide receiver Brandon Marshall suspension came after he misbehaved during practice on Wednesday, which included intentionally dropping passes and punting. The Denver Broncos have suspended Brandon Marshall for negative behaviour towards team and team members, his suspension will last only for preseason, according to team officials.
This simply means Brandon Marshall suspension will not end before September 6, but according to official reports if he continued to misbehave it is quite possible that his suspension could last much longer than that.
Josh McDaniels the coach for Denver Broncos told the Marshall that he has been suspended for preseason starting from 28th August, 2009, he was told about his suspension just before a team meeting in which McDaniels shared the news with the rest of the players too.
Coach McDaniels told the reporter that all the team agreed on the decision and said that this was the right thing to do, however, this has not been cleared by the officials that it they will try to trade Marshall in light of recent events related to his disrespectful attitude. Moreover, McDaniels said that they will keep on making this kind of decisions if necessary because decisions like these which are in the best interest of organization and team are the right decisions.
