Yes we were expecting it all along. An event like “Brandon Spikes Eye Gouging” one should not go un-noticed and it is proved that proper action has been taken against Brandon Spikes. Florida gators would not have their line backer for the first half during their game against Vanderbilt. Gators Coach Urban Meyers and his wife Shelley talked to player, whom he has regarded as a very emotional person and after hearing his side of the story, suspended him for one half of the game. Brandon Spikes has also issued an apology for “Eye Gouging” event.
OK to be true to Brandon Spikes it was all not his fault. First a match between Florida gators and Georgia bulldogs is always a heated event. The emotions run high during the play. Brandon Spikes’ helmet was twice attacked by the Bulldogs. He must be boiling inside and as Florida and Georgia players pile up, Brandon Spikes fell on the already fallen Washon Ealey and then put his gloved hand inside Ealey’s helmet with full force and is if once was not enough his hand was seen going inside the helmet and coming out many times. I believe actually gouging the eyes would not have been on Brandon Spike’s agenda.
Spikes otherwise is a very talented player and is known as one of the best linebackers. The game was won by the Florida gators by 41 to 17 in a match that itself has gained popularity as the best win by the Gators.
