There are very few music groups that last for long because every band has a life cycle after completing that life cycle, the group either reshuffles or assumes a different name or, sometimes, dies leading to solo performances. Usually, there are inevitable reasons behind the break-up of any band but it causes enormous distress to its fans that have become emotionally attached to the band. The same has happened to the fans of Brooks and Dunn who have decided to part their ways after their farewell performances. Some critics take this as a strategy to stimulate demand and salability of their music. But nothing can be said for sure about what they have in their minds. Brooks and Dun have ruled over the hearts of their fans for the last two decades. Many critics, music professionals, media and fans are amazed on the joint statement of the popular country music pair when they made a formal statement that they are going to split. Duo explained that they have enjoyed ruling the hearts of their fans for long time and this is something to do with the life cycle and time and has nothing to do with any controversy that might have been hatched by the speculators. They said that all pride and fame they earned is just because of “you” (fans). They hit the charts in 1991 and their albums sold out making them the largest selling giants in the country music as twenty two million copies were sold out.
