Bryant Gumbel is not behind in the “hounds’ race”. The misadventures of tiger wood have provided a sensational subject to tabloids to add spice to their stories. The hunting hounds are after the golfer who is hiding from the media men and has spoken to them only once.
Perhaps he is deliberately lapsing more time in order to give more opportunity to other “prospective” mistresses who couldn’t have chance in the initial sessions. Perhaps he is thinking “let all the girls claim their stories and I will then make a final and joint statement once for all”. But the eagerness of the media has enhanced to much greater extent that there is race between different media channels to have a lead over others to book the golfer and let him make disclosures on their channel exclusively. At the moment there is no movement from the side of Tiger Woods and he has become unapproachable.
There are many channels including ESPN, Oprah, and Golf Channel who are making “hot pursuit”. In this race Bryant Gumbel is not behind. Bryant Gumbel does a show “Real Sports” on HBO. The show is famous for “intimate disclosures” as many celebrities have revealed their personal endeavors at the show. Essara Tuaolo is one of such participants of the show who really enjoyed disclosing his gay adventures for the benefit of general public (perhaps he did it to encourage more and more potential gays to come forward and “lead from the front”). Many channels are “enticing” Tiger Woods to “defend” his case on their show and focus on his game then.
