The 99 years old famous American art collector and gardener Bunny Mellon is reported to be involved in aiding John Edwards to settle his extra marital affair. John Edward visited Bunny Mellon before accepting the parenthood of his baby girl out of wedlock. May be it was bunny who persuaded him to do so. Bunny Mellon had made the largest contribution to Edward’s presidential campaign. She was persuaded by Andrew Young to make a donation of $700,000 and also paid a 45% gift tax to legitimize her contribution. Bunny Mellon’s donation was allegedly used to make a settlement with Hunter the mother of Edward’s baby.
The FBI is probing Edward’s for the misuse of campaign funds and violating the Federal laws. Bunny Mellon is intrigued by the FBI probe and commented that it was first time in her 99 years that she’s been interviewed by FBI. She funded the Edward’s campaign just out of good faith. She is shocked by the “misappropriation of funds”. Andrew Young had previously admitted the fatherhood of Hunter’s baby but now he has written a “tell all book” perhaps to cash on the juicy scandal. Bunny is very annoyed of young while Edward’s is lucky to have a soft corner in Bunny’s heart.
Bunny Mellon was a close friend of Mrs. Kennedy and she has done the landscaping of White house gardens. She is the widow of Paul Mellon a famous art collector and a banking heir. Bunny’s father Gerard Barnes Lambert was the founder of “Warner Lambert” and president of “Gillette Safety razor”.
