With a wave of anti-religious sentiment prevailing, newt Gingrich and wife Callista Gingrich are trying to rediscover the lost values. Callista and Gingrich were attending the opening ceremony of the documentary,” Rediscovering God in America II: Our Heritage.” The documentary itself is hosted by Newt and Callista Gingrich.
The ceremony was arranged at Capitol Visitor Centre. It is perhaps no co-incidence that Congress has passed the bill to get the motto “In God We Trust” inscribed at the pillar in Capitol Visitor center. The film takes the viewers on a journey of discovering the religion across the nation. Gingrich was instrumental in getting many “inaccuracies” being corrected like the addition of the motto “In God We Trust” in front of the Speaker’s rostrum.
Former House Speaker and his wife were emphatic in their argument that the founders created and laid the foundations of America on strong religious values. The film emphasizes that the liberty and prosperity of American People is influenced by the Creater and no other. Film makes it home that the whole philosophy behind the creation of America was based on Christian values. The values on which the foundations were laid are the basis for the continued development.
It is to be noted that Callista Gingrich has been a mistress of now religious Mr. Newt and is his third wife now.
