Shocking the world with his early death at an age just a few years above fifty, captain Phil Harris death has deprived “The Deadliest Catch” of a brilliant man. Captain Phil Harris death came just a few days after he suffered from a stroke while off loading his vessel the Cornelia Marie at its home port in Alaska. While off loading the ship of its contents at the St. Pauls Islands’ docking bay captain Phil suffered from a stroke after which he was rushed to the hospital. At the hospital he underwent twelve hours of surgery, the conclusion of which was putting him in a medically induced coma.
His sons, Josh and Jake, who were also a part of the television series were much aggrieved by the news of captain Phil Harris’ death which came as a bit of a surprise because in his state of coma there was a time where he showed a bit of progress displaying slight control in his hands.
The death which will be aired on the series as well came while the show was in its seventh crabbing season. The show involves a small fleet of shipping vessels which go out to sea to crab for the King crab. Captain Phil Harris death has sent shudders around the world which has been deeply engrossed in the show. He was looked upon as a warrior who fought his way till the end and for all the viewers around the world I hope it comes as a lesson to live life while it still lasts for death may come at any time.
