Carlton towers Bangalore is a famous building of the city. Fire broke into the building today creating disaster. Nine people have died and it is estimated that about seventy got injured. The injured people are also in a critical situation and are being treated in the intensive care units. The fire caused panic and three innocent people tried to save their lives by jumping from the building but they received injuries and passed away.
The fire broke out at about 2:30 afternoon and it was controlled after two hours. A fireman stated that the fire was caused due to a cable in the elevator. There was a lot of smoke. The smoke caused suffocation and people rushed out of the building to save their lives. Some people who jumped outside received minor injuries because they jumped from the lower floors.
There was a huge traffic jam on the road where the Carlton towers Bangalore are situated. The people on the road tried to save many lives. The fire brigade was unable to reach the spot due to thee thick traffic. The hospital staff started treating the injured patients right away.
