Once again major upsets have been seen at the College football’s Saturday game when Houston had a dramatic victory over Texas Tech. Houston and Texas Tech were going so close and the Houston’s won the game with score of 29-28. This victory won the Cougars their first ranking in past 18 years. Houston’s were previously ranked 17th.
Case Keenum played a significant role in this victory over Texas Tech. Case Keenum ran 95 yards in 16 plays at the end of the games and made the gasping Texas Tech totally confused. Hence, Keenum found a way to win the match for the Houston’s lifting them from its 17th rank. Case Keenum passed the goal line in last 49 seconds and changed the whole scenario for the Cougar’s. It was undoubtedly a game-winning drive from the Case Keenum. In the fourth quarter, Houston’s had five point lead in the game. Texas Tech had opportunities to get some scores. When Keenum made the last run, Texas Tech also ran along with him and ran as far as they could but Keenum passed the goal line first and the minute he passed it the time ran out hence, making a winning drive for the Houston’s.
Texas Tech coach Mike Leach commented on the game and said, “I thought it became a game of situations.
Both teams played really hard and slugged it out, but Houston played better in key situations than we did.”
The two teams made 61 Touch downs, ran for 1,065 total yards and made 774 yards of passing.
