Caster Semanaya – South African, world champion, runner is asked to confirm her sex. She recently, has won African Junior Championships in 2009. She has won both races of 800 m and 1500 last month in Berlin, with a good time limit and after winning the championship, she is asked for a gender test from IAAF.
This is not a first time that IAAF is asking someone for gender test. It is necessary for the athletes to undergo for gender test. Caster Semanaya is doubtful that may be she is a hermaphrodite that is a kind of germ which comprises on both male and female powers. Her test has been completed but still unfolded. International Association of Athletics Federations is shocked by her immense improvement in both races. Caster said she is also suspected for the reason that she is taking some drugs.
It takes few weeks for gender test as the tests are managed by the group of experts, a gynecologist, an endocrinologist, an expert on gender and a psychologist.
Semanaya was the one who broke the highest record in senior game with wonderful margin and a large number of people criticized on IAAF for her gender test though Semanaya is in full hope about her ability and aptitude and is not much concerned about the consequences.
There are some rumors that Government of South Africa is also considering about a court case against IAAF, but if it is the rule for athletes and Semanaya is not worried about her tests and has no objection , its useless for the Government of South Africa and for her fans to be so conscious about her gender test.
