Caster Semenya is again on the news.
By now most of them may got the news that the South African runner 800 meter world champion has been a potential disqualifier from the 800 meter final in Berlin. The runner was faced the objection that she has to undergo to establish her sex as they think she might be a male.
After this doubt IAAF conducted her test and reports have been received and sources told Caster Semenya is anticipated to be a hermaphrodite. This is not yet confirmed because the IAAF spokesman avoids giving any statement but he urged that it will be handle with caution.
It needs to be clarified that now it is not about being a male or female. But of entirely female, she may have the secondary characteristics of male and this condition is named hermaphroditism.
The latest report with confirmation is that the testing is done, report has been received by IAAF and report would be analyzed by the group of experts to decide the matter. The meeting with the Semenya is expected after few weeks.
Due to the rumors around, I can’t write much about the situation at this point of time, let’s wait and let the authentic report be published to decide the future of South African Athlete.
