The part Irish part Scottish group of six known to everyone as Celtic Thunder has made an appearance in the main screen media around America as PBS has taken the task of premiering the groups six decades of music. The group Celtic Thunder was premiered on the eleventh of March by one of PBS’s channels QVC and was one of the main events celebrating Saint Patrick’s Day. Alongside the live screening of the band QVC has also made available the bands album which is titled “Ireland’s Call” and it will be selling the packages which include a DVD as well.
Celtic Thunder is made up of six band member who have a wide range of ages which span between the range of seventeen and forty-one. This unique attribute of the band has given it the ability to come out with a diverse genre of songs as each of the member brings with him his very own influence. The band, last year, was given the distinguished title of the Billboard’s Top World Album/Artist and it did much to promote their music to those who weren’t as familiar with the band before then.
The band is also going to be touring the States from September playing in arenas all over the country. The Saint Patrick’s Day promotion of the band is going to do wonders in spreading the word about the sensational six’s performances which are coming up in cities ranging between Bufallo and Norfolk from Hershey to Denver.
