Cerrato Resigns from Washington Redskins the National Football team, from the designation of Executive Vice President of Football Operations after getting dissatisfied from his team performance. It has been reported that Vinny Cerrato resigned football operations executive vice president from Washington Redskins.
Vinny Cerrato affiliated with Washington Redskins first in 1999 and he remained with the team on different post with different responsibilities, he served Washington Redskins for several years on five different portfolios. Cerrato was hired as Executive Vice President two years back and finally on poor performance especially in 2009; Cerrato came up with a resignation in his hand.
Cerrato stated that he and management were convinced of the decision he took as it is the right time to move. He further said that I am thankful to the team management for their support and encouragement for last two years. Talking about the team performance the Ex Executive Vice President said that thought the results of the current year are disappointing but I have strong believe that we have laid the solid foundation and the team got the talent to bounce back and they will.
53 year old Bruce Allen the son of Redskins former coach is getting ready to take up the responsibilities as Executive Vice President for football operations by replacing Vinny Cerrato.
Allen remained associated with Tampa Bay Buccaneers for four years till 2008 as the general manager.
Snyder expressed his optimistic views about the move by saying that Bruce Allen is the right choice for the vacant post at the right time, he said we know how capable Allen is and fans will be happy for this move to place Allen for Cerrato.
