Tisha Taylor Murphy, wife of Comedian Charlie Murphy, died on Sunday night.
Sad news for the holidays: Tisha Taylor Murphy the wife of comedian and actor, Charlie Murphy died on Sunday night. Charlie Murphy’s wife was battling with cancer but succumbed to the disease and passed away. His wife died while she was asleep in couple’s home in New Jersey.
Charlie Murphy’s publicist, Lyndsey Jacobs, released the tragic news. In her statement she said that Tisha Taylor, the wife of the comedian, died peacefully while sleeping. The statement said that Tisha died with her family on her side. Tisha Taylor, according to the publicist’s statement, died after battling with her cancer for two years. The publicist also conveyed Murphy Family’s appreciation for the support from the fans and that the family is requesting for privacy to the family during the difficult time.
Charlie Murphy married Tisha Taylor in 1997. He has two children from his wife Tisha while one son from a previous marriage. Tisha Taylor is survived with her husband, her daughter Eva, and son Xavier.
