ON Saturday the 27th of February Chile was hit by an earthquake with an order of magnitude 8.8.It was followed by earthquake in Haiti and Japan recorded around 7.0 magnitude. Even today a minor earthquake of magnitude 3.2 was reported in San Jose. Now it is predicted that California will experience some minor quakes and pre-cautionary measures are being taken. Chile had an unforeseen invitation of disaster.
The affects were also experienced in Hawaii. The earthquake killed about seven hundred people and a far-flung destruction. The after shocks were felt days after the earthquake came. Chile is located on earthquake active spot and more earthquakes are being expected and trigger a tsunami.
