Greg Norman and Chris Evert separation is just another proof that an extravagant marriage in Bahamas is no security that the bond would last. The move shocked the media as the couple is famous for being love-birds in public. The latest public appearance was in September at US Open, couple did not gave any indication that they are parting their ways. They have been in so much love that Evert even acted as caddy for Norman at Augusta National Par-3. Greg Norman who is a well-celebrated golf pro and enjoyed number 1 position back in 80s and 90s. Chris Evert on her part is a celebrity tennis player and have won 18 single grand slams and made a record winning seven French Opens.
Greg Norman had previous bad experience of being separated from Laura Andrassy a case which led to a payment of $100 million later. Laura accepted two children to Norman, Greg and Morgan. Chris Evert was married to Olympian Andy Mill. The couple had three children together.
The Shark and Chris Evert were planning to build a luxurious resort in Dominican Republic with a tennis and golf courts. Norman was even building a tennis court in his family house in Jupiter Islands.
For Chris Evert the tennis was in genes. Her father Jimmy Evert was a tennis coach and tennis was a household word for Chris. She graduated in 1973.
Their separation statement said, “The decision is a result of a great deal of consideration”.
