A hockey player was taken for NHL draft in its first round before five years and since then no other player has been taken. And it is just because Chris Kreider has been nominated to Draft Central by the Phillips Academy in Montreal this week. A package of skills has also been included with him that could help Chris to get the position in top 30.
Chris Kreider has been given the 14th rank among the skaters of North America by the Central Scouting Bureau of NHL. In the last half of the round one, many prognosticators want to see him in action. When Chris Kreider saw many of his former coaches of youth hockey in his last winter games, he was very confused.
Kreider said, He asked his mom why all these coaches were there? Kredier had just completed his junior season and scored around 30 goals in all 26 games in the last winter at Phillips. He said my mom explained me that they were come to look my game. For NHL clubs Kredier has been doubled as area scouts by his former hockey coaches.
But Kreider could not realize that all these coaches came for him. Many of scouts have a strong believe that Kreider will be selected in the round one in the Draft of NHL on Friday in Montreal. Kreider said, I saw many scouts there who were my coaches in the past. He said if had not played my game this year I would not be the high pick at all.
