Christopher Titus

Had it not been for that fateful day when Christopher Titus found himself in burning bonfire and doctor telling him that if he had inhaled hot gases, he would not have been around. The day proved to be the day of transformation for Christopher Titus. He decided to get rid of his demons, alcoholism, drugs and the suicide of his mother.

I have heard Christopher Titus performing live and telling about his mother shooting herself and how this can be avoided – well as soon as the audience start becoming serious he says that would they believe that he was fired from Suicide Hotline!

Born 10th March, 1966 he quickly ascended the ladder of popularity as he decided to turn his tragedy into comedy. Titus performing career in comedy started when he was 18.

His parents separated in his child hood and he had to live with his father, who had his own issues. Titus’ mother after being involved in a murder case committed suicide. Christopher Titus has two children.

Titus supports and has founded an organization that provides funding for the children who have been abused as his contribution towards giving the children a better future who have been subject to the conditions he had to face.

Though he has frequently appeared on T.V shows his most popular show is FOX T.V series bearing his name – Titus. Titus’ work for the series won him a nomination on Writer’s Guild. The series Titus was also nominated for an Emmy.
