Colin Quinn is an Irish-American writer, actor and a famous comedian. He is well-known for hosting the long-running show Saturday Night Live and performing as co-host of crazily popular late-1980′s game show “Remote Control” and also performs as host of his own show “Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn” for two years from 2002-2004.
Colin Quinn began his comic profession from the comedy show circuit in N.Y. In spite of performing in different shows as a comedian and host, he also wrote and starred with Ben Stiller in the comedy show “Going Back to Brooklyn”. Though he is well-known for his hosting of various shows but his comedy and humorous acting makes him prominent among other contemporary comedians.
Besides his comic TV shows and stage performances, he has also performed in various movies like “Married to the Mob”, “Who’s the Man?” Collin also has the honor of writing the screenplay for Celtic Pride. He also prides himself as the Associate Producer of that project. He has written a number of plays for NBC and also has performed in many distinguished and remarkable plays and shows.
Colin Quinn’s latest, noteworthy and significant work was his own show on Comedy Central named “Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn”. He was listed #56 in the catalog of comedy central’s hundred best stand-ups of history. He was also ranked to the list of the Irish America Magazine for the “Top hundred Irish Americans of the Year”. No doubt his noteworthy comic work threw him in the list of top 100 of the year.
